I have an obsession with fruit in a salad.
It just makes it top notch, really.
I made this spinach-pear salad the other day and it was the perfect sweet & healthy meal.
Super quick. You can easily make a big bowl of it for everyone or just a small one for yourself!
Takes like 10 minutes tops either way. ( ALL.ABOUT the quick recipes. )
& the dressing I made is perfect on it. All crazy easy.
Plus it looks pretty. & what’s better than cute food, right?
It’s also great for any season, which I LOVE.
You can make it in the middle of the hot-ass summer or the freezing-your-ass-off winter.
The options are just endless, you guys.
THIS IS FOR A MEDIUM SIZED BOWL TO SERVE!
+ Throw your spinach into a bowl. I used one whole bag.
+ Chop up 1/2 of the onion
+ Throw the onion into the salad and toss it around
+ Throw in a 1/2 to 1 cup of almonds ( really depends on how much you want )
+ Throw in 1/2-1 cup of cranberries – I did about two cups because I was really into the holiday vibes ( whatever. )
+ Chop up half a cucumber and toss it in
+ Slice your lemon in half
+ Cut the pears up LAST so they don’t brown!
+ Place your pears on top or in, whatever works.
+ Squeeze one half of the lemon over the whole salad. TIP : squeezing the lemon juice on the pears will help the browning hold off.
+ I used the other half of the lemon to put on the side of the bowl.. cuteness.
Simple as that!
I use my favorite vinegar dressing on it.
Both of them together are delicious!
