HAPPY SAINT PATRICK’S DAY!
& Friday. Uh-huuuuh.
I love EVERY AND ANY holiday. ANY. It could be President’s Day and I’m all of a sudden Betty Crocker making cupcakes with president’s faces on them or some shit.
SERIOUSLY you guys.. I’m kind of a psycho?
Or I’ll just be a super chic mom because my kids will have top notch desserts at any holiday class party, HA.
You just have to look at the reasonable side, not the crazy side.

Talking ’bout sweets.. BA want’s to murder me because I have these glass jars on our bar area filled with festive sweets – like stacked Oreos and M&M’s.. both holiday themed, may I add. & Cheeto’s. Just because who doesn’t love a Cheeto every now and then?
BUT he can’t walk by without grabbing a handful of something LOL. I have no problem just walking by without touching them because I love how they look and don’t want to mess up the aesthetic..
See? Sometimes psycho pays off.

Did you know I named my dog – Jameson – after the whiskey? Technically I really did it because it’s my brothers favorite whiskey and he picked my dog out. BUT. I’m still a fan and think Irish things are fun.
Boston get’s down & dirty, where are you guys? I love seeing how other places celebrate holidays because I LOVE HOLIDAYS.. EVERYWHERE.
Honestly though, I’ll be in bed at 11pm because sometimes I’m a 24 year old and other times I’m an 86 year old. Been a LONG week of no sleep. The circles under my eyes need a rest. YAWN.
But before that.. I’m talking all things fun, flirty, and festive! AKA how to have a bomb-ass time on fun holidays (or whenever) & waking up a litttttle less swollen than usual.
I mean, obviously drinking and indulging will cause some swelling.. & that’s ok. We all have our days.
Being someone who gets extremely swollen (like, just had surgery type of swollen), I’ve learned some tips along the way.
They’ve helped me reduce my ‘after-a-night-out-swells’ down to a 6 from a 13 ( out of 10.. ) so, that’s that.
+ THE OBVIOUS: REPLACE ANY SUGARY DRINKS WITH A SIMPLE.. VODKDA, WATER, & LEMON. OR TEQUILA. WHATEVER. JUST ADD WATER AND TONS OF LEMON! NO SUGARY JUICES.
+ FOR MIMOSA’S, GET CHAMPAGNE WITH A SIDE OF OJ OR GRAPEFRUIT JUICE – DON’T LET THEM POUR IT IN FOR YOU. CALORIE SAVER. ALSO, GRAPEFRUIT JUICE IS SUPER GOOD FOR YOU!
+ OPEN FACED ANYTHING – KEEP WHATEVER YOU EAT WITH BREAD OPEN FACED. ONE LESS PIECE OF CARBS THAT YOU WON’T EVEN NOTICE.
+ CARRY HEALTHY SNACKS IN YOUR PURSE BEFORE YOU GO OUT- LOL I SWEAR!!! I DO THIS ALL THE TIME. YOU’LL SNACK WHILE OUT, THEN YOU WON’T BE STARVING AT 2AM AND ARE LESS LIKELY TO DOWN A PIZZA. ALSO – YOU WON’T EAT BAR FOOD WITH YUMMY SNACKS ON HAND. SWEAR BY THIS.
+ GET AN ICE ROLLER FOR THE MORNING.. & HAVE IT READY. SOOTHE THAT INFLAMMATION ASAP!
+ USE EYE DE PUFFER (KIEHL’S IS MY FAV) – I SWEAR BY THIS SHIT. BA INTRODUCED ME AND I THOUGHT IT WAS COMPLETE BS. I USED IT A FEW TIMES ANNNND QUICKLY CHANGED MY MIND. AMAZING.
Ok, I KNOW. Some of these are like.. really really psycho-ish.
Like the purse one. But I PROMISE you that these have saved me.
I’m shamelessly guilty of pizza eating at 2 am. Don’t get me wrong. But when I KNEW I didn’t want to wake up.. let’s say ..fluffier?.. then I prepared, I went, and I conquered.
I’m about to go get a blowout & probably drink some rosé because.. it’s st. patty’s day DUH.
