I’m feeling SUPER inspired lately – like, crazy inspired. I have no idea why but I’m loving it. MAJOR inspiration right now is coming from yoga.
Something just speaks to me when I’m alone and in a state of mind where I can just.. CHILL.
So, I got inspired to try pilates for the first time (shoutout to my teacher, kara) and loved it! I am really into barre classes and figured I would switch it up and give pilates a shot. COULD NOT MOVE the entire next day. SO.SORE. in the best way.
ANOTHER MAJOR TIP: get cute water bottles – it’ll help you drink water all day long! I show my new water bottles (I get a lot…) on snap all the time. UN: krissymcneill. Maybe I’ll write a post soon on my absolute favorite water bottles, where to get them, and WHY I’m obsessed. They’ve helped me so much LOL.
Okay so ya, try pilates if you haven’t – I’m definitely going to be making it a thing.
I get so many ideas and thoughts when I go to classes. There is just something about being in that setting and not having your phone on you (AMEN). I bring a notebook and pen with me everywhere I go.. and I mean everywhere. Like even to a barre class.. because my brain just starts flowing when I’m in that setting.
There is nothing better than being in a class when they close the doors. Like, everything behind those doors is just.. gone. It’s you and your body. Like, HOLY shit. AMAZING!
I’ve also noticed this in the car? There’s something about driving alone. I’ll randomly start yelling ideas at siri to have her text myself (HA) because I can’t write stuff down (I’m already the WORST driver.. don’t add a pen and paper in the mix). THANKS, siri girl!!!
Being alone is verrrry underrated – I find my best thoughts come out at those times.
I, personally, like to read about recipes and why the food they contain are good for the body and then kind of put a twist on things. I always make my recipes kind of, mine? I like to learn about the foods, try them out from other peoples experiences, and then put together my own mess.
I don’t know why, it’s just always been a thing.
I’ll post some juices soon – full on green & YUM.
I show new smoothies/juices all the time on snap & insta stories. It’s just such an easy way to communicate with you guys and learn tips from each other – like, THANK YOU for the migraine tips. You guys had ones I’ve never heard of and I’m stoked to have them!

Protein ice cream is a thing, right? Like I see it everywhere. BA helped me whip one together and it was AMAZING. I actually was like, taken back. I thought it would suck to be honest LOL.. but it was actually really good?
+ siggi’s yogurt
+ peanut butter
+ protein powder
+ almond milk – teeny tiny splash
(add amounts as you please!)
Since I’m on some random food kick, I made almond milk this weekend. & let me just tell you – SO EASY & so good. I added a lot of vanilla extract to make it more of a vanilla almond milk, but.. uh, WOW.
It took about five minutes (after the almonds soaked overnight) to make it. Which is what I am alllll about.

SIDE NOTE: I tried to make some sort of skinny pop tarts, and they.. um.. didn’t come out as planned. BUT. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be? So that’s a plus. I’m very determined to make these things how I want.. and I’m not good at letting shit go.. so they will soon be perfected to how I want them, don’t you worry!
