Hey hey babes!
Exciting things happening over here – stoked to share them with you soon. Been busy, busy, busy!
I love that though – keeps me on my toes HA.
I’m horrible at relaxing. Unless I’m at a beach. I feel like that’s the only place I can reallllly just.. chill out. I’m insane.
Anyway.. it’s TEETH WEEK over here!
..the ‘f is teeth week..
YA. You read that right. All my favorite tips and tricks about those pearly whites all week long – insta & snap will have all the fun facts, make sure to follow along! I’ve said this so many times but those platforms seriously makes me connect with you guys on a different level. I also can not believe the tips you guys throw at me. UNREAL.
Ok so as promised from last week’s sunday feels I’m throwing my almond milk recipe right at ya. And it’s reallllly good.
I love almond milk in general, so I was super into making it at home. I thought it was going to be a process.. no no. SO easy! Like, after the almonds soak it takes about 10 minutes to make it? The only thing I would make sure you absolutely have is a milk bag to squeeze the almonds in. I tried a few weeks ago without one and.. ya. No. You need one. Trust me.
But it’s super easy and so worth it because SHIT did it taste good.
It’s also just adorable in a cute glass. Very Williams Sonoma feels in your kitchen.
+ 1 cup of almonds soaked overnight
+ put the almonds in a strainer, drain & rinse them
+ add them to a blender with a pinch of Himalayan salt and 2 tbsp of vanilla extract
+ blend for 2 minutes! set a timer – you want the most of the almonds
+ pour everything from the blender into the milk bag (over a bowl or the glass you are using) and squeeze out the milk
You can mix and mingle with it, too. Add some cinnamon and what not. Do your thing.
I’ve been LOVING pilates lately and I have been doing a ton of yoga. I’m really digging making my own workouts that I can do at home. I like having the ability to workout without going somewhere sometimes. You know? Lazy but not lazy.
So ya I’ve been making up a ton of random workouts that include barre, pilates, and just random moves – I’ll share some soon with you guys, what do you think? Let me know what else you’re doing for quick workouts at home!
I don’t think workouts need to be crazy looooong and take up half your day. I’m a true believer in quick and effective. I do about 40 minutes a day (at least 30 minutes – always). But I try to add in ten minutes of extra abs right now since I’m going to Italy in June. Need to feel.. very not bloated. (Bikini season much?)
Another obsession right now – collagen. I’m adding it to my morning smoothies or you can throw some into my protein coffee! Such a simple way to up your hair and skin game.
I mean, healthier hair and skin just screams YES. Who the hell doesn’t want that? All the benefits are just to die for. This kind especially – it really speaks to me. And there is no flavor making your drink taste bad, don’t worry. All the benefits without having to block your eyes, nose, and ears while you chug it – boom!
